The Dive Center

Temple Diving, a 5 STAR PADI Dive Center, was founded in 2019 by a French family who named it after the station on line 3 of the Paris metro, Temple, where a Templar castle once stood. Their dream was to make the centre a reference stop for all divers visiting Penida.

In June 2024, Mar Adentro Diving bought Temple, with the commitment to continue the mission of its founders and also bringing the experience of a leading dive center in the southern Mexican Caribbean.

Located in the north of the island, close to Pura Ped, Temple Diving has direct access to the beach. On clear days, you can enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the mighty Gunung Agung, the iconic volcano of Bali, while our Divemasters prepare your diving equipment. The garden and pool area that we use for courses is available for you to stay for as long as you like after your dives, talking to your new friends about what we are all passionate about – diving.

Most of the Temple team are part of the Nusa Penida community. Born on the island, they know every current and reef like no one else. They represent the Balinese culture, characterised by hospitality, respect and connection with nature.
