Manta Bay
A dive site well known for its resident manta rays that gracefully navigate the nutrient-rich waters off the southwest coast of Nusa Penida. This site offers encounters with schools of younger specimens.
Technical Conditions:
- Depth: Starts at around 5 meters at the reef’s edge, reaching depths of approximately 30 meters.
- Currents: Can be variable, often requiring confidence in drift diving techniques.
- Suitability: Best suited for certified divers comfortable with moderate to strong currents.
- Marine Life: Frequent manta ray sightings, along with reef fish and other pelagic species.
