Open Water Diver

The PADI OWD course is the most popular dive certification in the world. It will allow you to descend with a guide or, on your own with a buddy, to a maximum depth of 18 meters. A license valid worldwide and for life. Your diving adventure starts here!

Welcome, we are going to give you a solid training as a diver. You will learn a lot and have a lot of fun, always in the safest way. Once you are certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, you will know how to plan dives by yourself, take care of your equipment, apply safety protocols, dive efficiently and respect the underwater life and ecosystems. A world of possibilities opens up for you.

What do you need to get started?

• Good health. A medical certificate is preferable, but not mandatory.

• Minimum age of 10 years, in the case of the Junior Open Water.

How long will it take?

All PADI courses are based the student’s progress and performance, so there is no maximum time. At Temple Diving , we give personalized attention, so an average of 3 days is GENERALLY enough to complete it satisfactorily.

What is it about?

The course is divided into theory and practice. The first involves studying a manual that we can provide you with before your arrival. The practice consists of

A) exercises in shallow water that help you become familiar with the equipment and learn safety techniques and

B) four dives in our beautiful reef: two at 12 meters and two at 18 meters.
