Cancellation policy of Temple Diving Penida (PT JAVA PAMA TEMPLE)
Making a reservation Any reservation will only be definitively confirmed upon receipt of an advance deposit of 20% of the total amount for Baptisms (DSD) and Bubblemakers, Fun Dives and Snorkeling activities or an advance deposit of 25% of the total amount for Courses that aim at a certification, with a minimum payment of IDR 350,000 or the full amount if the total price is less than IDR 350,000. The balance due will have to be paid in full in our dive center before the any diving or snorkeling activity and before the beginning of any accommodation service. Revolut international trransfers are currently not accepted. The payment of the deposit and other fees or taxes and for all amounts corresponding to the orders is made in Indonesian rupiahs. The payment of the deposit can be made:
on site, in the dive center of Nusa Penida, in cash or by credit or debit card (Visa-Master Card),
online, through a payment link from our payment service partner Cashlez,
online, through a QRIS accepting app.
Conditions of cancellation 2.1 If the Customer cancels The Customer must inform TEMPLE in writing (email or whatsapp) of his cancellation.
In case of a cancellation more than 96 hours (4 days) before the service: full refund of the amount deposited in advance, deduction of the administrative costs of 150 000 IDR, of the costs of buying the manual or elearning for courses and any other possible bank charges borne by TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA for accepting the deposit or processing the refund. Cash payments can be refunded in cash and credit card payments will be refunded within a maximum of 15 days after the customer’s cancellation.
In case of a cancellation less than 96 hours (4 days) but more than 24 hours before the service: TEMPLE will refund an amount of 50% of the advance deposit received for the reservation, said refunded amount will be reduced by any cost of buying a manual or elearning and by any bank fee or transfer fee borne by TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA due to the refund.
In case of a cancellation less than 24 hours before the service: TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA will keep all the sums (deposit or payment in full) received for the reservation. In the event of a cancellation reported less than 24 hours before the scheduled start of the service, TEMPLE may, if possible, propose another date to the Customer so that the reserved service can be carried out. In the event that it is impossible for the Customer to change the date, all sums already paid by the Customer will remain the property of TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA. Any activity started will not give rise to any refund, if the cancellation is due to the Customer (personal convenience, ear problems, stress or any other reason whatsoever). In the case of a training, stay or internship reserved for a defined period: TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA shall not be liable if, for personal reasons, the Customer has to interrupt the training, stay or internship or if the Customer does not appear at the place on the scheduled date and time. In particular, the sums already paid would remain the property of TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA and all costs incurred would remain the responsibility of the Customer. In the specific case of services provided to a group of divers (club trip, works council, summer camp, etc…), the price of the dives being negotiated on the basis of a global package, no refund can be made if one or more dives have to be cancelled for personal reasons or due to unfavourable weather conditions. 2.2 If TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA cancels A dive service may be cancelled by TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA for meteorological, technical or safety reasons.
In the event of cancellation for meteorological reasons, TEMPLE may propose postponing the service to another more favourable date, within the limits of available places. In the event that the Customer is unable to postpone the services (duration of the stay too short), the sums already paid to TEMPLE in relation to the cancelled service will be refunded to the Customer. An exception to this is the case of stay and diving services for a group of divers (club trip, works council, summer camp, etc.). In this case, the price of the dives being negotiated on the basis of a global package, no refund can be made if one or more dives have to be cancelled for unfavourable weather conditions and no postponement is possible.
In the event of cancellation for technical reasons, TEMPLE may propose postponing the service to another more favourable date, within the limits of available places. In the event that the Customer is unable to come for the service at the later proposed date (duration of the stay too short), TEMPLE undertakes to reimburse the amount of the services not provided. In all these cases of unforeseeable circumstances or events, the additional costs resulting from the partial postponement, total postponement or extension of the stay remain the responsibility of the Customer.
TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA can decide to cancel completely or partially a reserved service if the team of diving professionals deem the situation to be unsafe for themselves, the Customer or any other third party. Such situations can include (but are not limited to) the situation in which the Customer is in manifest state of inebriation and the situation in which the Customer does not or is not able to respect the instructions of the diving professionals or of the boat crew and the situation in which the Customer does not follow the instructions of correct behavior for the observation and preservation of the marine life. In such situations, no refund will be due to the Customer and all sums already paid by the Customer will remain the property of TEMPLE DIVING PENIDA and all costs incurred will remain the responsibility of the Customer.
